We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager – Mechanical to lead and manage the end-to-end commissioning of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead commissioning planning, strategy, schedule, budget, testing methodology, and acceptance criteria.
Manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams and third-party Commissioning Agents (CxA)
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, vendors, clients, consultants, and Operations/Facilities.
Oversee FAT/FWT, SAT, functional testing, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
Lead commissioning of critical electrical, mechanical, controls, fire protection, security, and ICT systems.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, design requirements, applicable codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Manage defects, NCRs, punch lists, risks, troubleshooting, and corrective actions through to closure.
Ensure proper LOTO and safe working practices, particularly during energization and live testing.
Oversee commissioning documentation, turnover packages, and final handover to Operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10–15 years of commissioning experience, including 5+ years in large-scale, mission-critical data centers.
Proven experience managing the full commissioning lifecycle of complex data center projects.
Strong knowledge of HV systems, generators, UPS, cooling systems, BMS/EPMS, controls, and fire protection.
Good understanding of N, N+1, and 2N redundancy, Tier standards, and data center operations.
Experience with hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data centers is preferred.
Certifications such as CxA, PMP, PE, CDCDP, OSHA 30, or equivalent are highly desirable.
